One Union I'll Never Support

Police Unions trump the chief of police as well as the general public:

NYPD Gang Rape

Every year, we hear about cases involving groups of men sexually abusing drunk women with diminished ability to give consent-or possibly no ability to give consent. You would think police officers would be especially aware of this danger, and being professionals and gentleman, would keep their actions above reproach. But need I remind you, we're talking about the N.Y.P.D.

Reckless, Aggressive Cop Runs Man Over Man And Kills Him-Footage

There is plenty of footage on YouTube of cops hitting victims/ suspect with their cars, either deliberately or with criminal irresponsibility.  This video speaks for itself.

Perfectly Professional Savagery

Notice how calm and professional the police officers seem at first. At a moment's notice, a new officer, who sounds a bit more on edge, arrives on the scene and the situation heads south. After all, since there's a possibility that a 110 lb drunken woman could hurt an officer, it's perfectly reasonable and proportionate of the officer to smash a woman's face and leave her mutilated. Anything in the name of security.

Cops Shoot Injured, Unarmed Motorist

Another police officer decides to shoot someone who he viewed as a potential threat. I would say this case may not be as open and shut as it looks, but then the police department itself has charged its officer with a felony, and police departments are loathe to charge their own officers with crimes. A scared, negrophobic woman, adrenaline junkie cop, and another dead black man.

Cop Arrests Cop

It's very rare that a police officer arrests another police officer. In this case, a bitchy female officer rubs an officer in another jurisdiction the wrong way, resulting  in her arrest.  She is in a state of disbelief that her speeding, getting out of her vehicle and refusing to get out of her car when ordered gets her arrested. Later on, she even accuses the arresting officer of being unreasonable, pointing out that she lets cops get away with speeding infractions and violations including undercover officers driving 100 mph.

Kick to The Sternum.

Another angry cop attacks a black man. Defenders of the police will describe any movement the prone man makes as "resistance," but the kick to the chest says it all. Another stressed out cop is getting violent. His colleagues will back him.

Two Wrongs....

Videos of police brutality are often "rebutted" by counter videos that show what occurred before the police beating gets underway. In most cases, it doesn't matter. Police officers aren't supposed to inflict physical damage or pain according to how horrible they think a suspect soon to be to be victim is or has been. Police officers have a variety of choices they make when approaching and restraining individuals, but often, as video shows, they make very aggressive, violent choices all while "complying with department policy." Brutal violence is rarely the only way for police officers to detain individuals and is a piss poor technique for deescalating a situation. Thanks to the "Toxic Cops" channel on YouTube for this.

Your Life/ Their Paycheck.

It is the business of the police officer to weigh down citizenry with fines and to put people in jail.  If this seems obvious, then consider how this mindset influences a police officer who might otherwise use discretion and choose not to pursue relatively blameless motorists or arrest people for victim-less crimes. Arresting you and fining equates to an officer's job security.
