NYPD Theft

             Your weekly NYPD corruption update. This one isn't even close. There's no grey area here. This is theft.

NYC RESISTANCE.

This is an already well covered incident, but the YouTube channel NYCRESISTANCE, although somewhat politically objectionable, does good work providing undercover footage of the deeply flawed NYPD.  His own version of video journalism provides powerful images.

Savage Rescue

   When adrenaline is rushing, suspect and civilian seems pretty similar to many cops. Admittedly, this officer might have been restraining a man from trying to jump again, but the lawyer is correct in pointing out that police aren't typically trained to restrain the inebriated/ emotionally impaired by punching them in the face.

Kampus Kops

The president of the university wants an investigation. The governor wants an investigation. The student isn't a "thug," not remotely. Where there's smoke there's likely fire.

Meanwhile in Saint Louis (you remember the area where all those "thugs" behaved without any gratitude towards their public servants) cops beat the shit out of someone and then cautioned by another cop to "hold up" and "wait" if they're "worried about cameras." I almost wonder if this was the officer's way of ratting out her fellow officers without appearing to do-either that that or she's a complicit thug who happens to be stupid.

Occupational Police Force

Somehow the cops managed to subdue Grandma's party and make arrests on obstruction charges. It's hard to say what exactly happened here, but it doesn't look pretty:

Once again, police officers in America show remarkably poor discretion. A brutal slam for an elderly man who doesn't speak English. Paralysis is the consequence of walking away from the police.
