Confiscation and theft look the same from here. The worst of the NYPD continue to hound unlucky citizens who catch them on their many bad days. NYC RESISTANCE has views I don't always agree with, but his footage offer the best testimony of what life is like for some of those being protected and served the NYPD.

Dog Blames Man

 A police officer either deliberately or unintentionally loses control of a police dog and blames the resulting bite on the victim because the victim was "moving." It doesn't appear that the victim was moving, but developing such a narrative is convenient for an unprofessional police officer.

The Modern NYPD

This clip from Democracy Now is useful in two ways: it illustrates how police brutality in New York spans the decades and is truly an institutional problem. It also clarifies that different parts of the United States have different rules regarding filming police officers.

The brutality speaks of incompetence and brute force, but the crimes continue in mendacious police reports. The officer had the nerve to say there were no injuries after this altercation.

Cop Doesn't Like Bad Language

Green Bay's finest showing their inability to keep their cool after hearing profanity directed towards them. More and more, public good will towards the police is eroding. Seconds after this was uploaded to You Tube, campaigns were getting initiated, Anonymous was on it, and so on. In other words, people are used to reacting to psycho cops.

Police officers performing their routine harassment of people with cameras. Further irritation ensues when the officer in question realizes the person recording her isn't afraid or worshipful of the badge.

What's unstated but obvious is that the police lied about positive field tests finding marijuana. After forging their results, police sent a SWAT team into the home off of law abiding citizens.

Handcuffed Suspect Gets Beaten

   Officers who are either sadists or have snapped torture a suspect. I am aware that the suspect may be a horrible human being- I don't know. It doesn't matter. The public isn't well served by police officers who behave this way.

The Felony That Wasn't.

It's very clear that this woman never imagined that a police officer would angrily grab her and violate her rights, which to many,  perhaps darker complected Americans is nothing new. The police officer in question never charged the motorist with "illegal" recording, which the courts have consistently ruled isn't  illegal where uniformed police officers are involved.

Institutional Brutality

I guess this one can't exactly be pinned on the NYPD. Maybe the contagion is spreading. Nyrecistance is a Farrakahn inspired black nationalist who does his own undercover work filming NYPD during their "stop and frisks." While I don't agree with his assessment all the time, his channel is worth viewing. It's also worth imagining what it'd be like to be in his shoes!

Fuck The Police

I try to be a bit detached or wry when writing, even though the videos and links I post are often horrible and angering. This fucking video makes my blood boil. I don't advocate violence, but I'd shed no tears if these cops got their teeth knocked out and kneecaps broken, reduced to begging for change coins dropped into their wooden bowls.

Notice the relish with which the obese, perhaps barely mobile, cop waddles his way over to the pinned suspect and brutally kicks him a few times. It's probably all justifiable under police training, so he gets to put his licks in.

Don't Call The Police

Stories about police officers killing the very people they were called to help are fairly common. We have only one account here, but the fact that the FBI is investigating is interesting. I'm not sure what I would do if I were responsible for caring for a mentally ill teenager, but calling the cops might not be worth considering given national trends.
