Police Attack Jewish Youth Center

My impression is that early on in the video the female police officer tries to restrain her fellow officer. Heistant, she tries to understand why her partner is reacting the way he does. Not to worry though, the blue code kicks in, and once her partner begins smacking the shit out of the homeless youth, she puts her departmental loyalty first and joins in on the beating. Not all cops initiate aggressive behavior or unnecessary violence, but virtually no police officers report or intervene against police brutality when they see it. A police assault on  Jewish youth center makes me wonder if police brutality is becoming more widespread.

Orders And Reality

The police officers indicate very early on in the video that they know they're on camera. Then, after throwing the motorist around, the cops pull him onto the ground, well out of camerashot. It's very clear that the cops are twisting his arms and probably applying pressue to his spine while telling him "not to move." Cops give impossible to follow orders while hurting "supsects" because it covers their asses in court. "No,sir, I repeatedly asked the suspect to stay still and give me his arm." At about 6:30, it becomes clear that this has devolved into low-grade torture. "Stop resisting," they tell him while twisting  his arm into a painful position. I wonder if this all started because the swine needed a pretext to search his car?

Holy Sisters Are Wholely Human

I'm going to avoid the cheapshot here. This only reminds us that the church's venerated orders are perfectly human. I hope this woman manages to recover from whatever is driving her to such behaviors.

Courteously Trampling All Over You

Police officers desperate to make a bust in order to have something to justify their paycheck may very well violate your rights.  The most interesting observations afforded by this video, in my opinion are as follows:

1 The cop's demeanor is very non- confrontational. His patina of professionalism is never blemished. Ironic, considering just how aggressive and desperate he is  to walk all over the rights of these two guys.

2 The victim cum "cameraman" here seems to think the cop's description of the passenger as "nervous" was the  legal pretext for detaining the car.Cops often make highly subjective, bullshit cover stories with terms like "erratic behavior," "abnormal behavioral manifestations," and so on. I suspect the victim should have told the police officer that he didn't consent to any kind of search and then left, but then again, the cop might have  have arrested him for that. I would have stated for the record that I didn't consent to any search.

3  Whoever rehired this once fired (that rhymed) police officer must have done a piss poor background check.

4  The officer keeps on saying "I'm not overly concerned about anything for personal use," implying that he wouldn't arrest the driver or passenger for just having a little marijuana or cocaine. In fact, he would have arrested them on the spot and impounded the car if he had found any marijuana on the car.
