I understand that laws protecting the abilities of police officers necessarily have to be strict and forbidding of physical resistance, but I cannot help but feel that by any fair standard, including police fetish mainstream American standard, the brothers were in the right . If the police had any reason for pursuing these guys, it isn't readily apparent. If police officers can't provide legal reason for detaining you, is pure compliance the most principled response?
