Cops and law enforcement are not your friends. If police officers can make themselves appear productive to their supervisors by needlessly involving people in the criminal justice system, then many of them will. Stay off their radar; don't say anything without a lawyer, and do not give law enforcement your trust. Once again, a media savvy citizen has proven that it pays to record the actions of law enforcement officers.
